Organise Your Time

In 2009, I sat in my GPs office sobbing – I’d been sent by the manager of my daughter’s nursery where I’d also sat sobbing. It was unlike anything I’d ever experienced before but I just couldn’t stop the tears.

“You’re having an exhaustive breakdown” he explained, gently and kindly as he always does. “You need to sleep because, at the moment, you’re just running on empty and this is your body’s way of letting you know”.

He was right. I had just been involved in a horrible car crash and wasn’t sleeping properly. I had two small children and I was running our family business so didn’t rest during the day.

It was then that I started planning my days (plus sleeping tablets and the offer of therapy). My love of lists had begun.
